Download slay the spire mods without steam

How do I play with mods without going to the Steam Library? I'm used to right-clicking the Steam icon in my system tray (lower right hand corner) and choosing Slay the Spire. But, if I do that, I can't choose to play with mods. So I'm opening up the Steam Library and selecting "Play" from there. Spire with Friends is a multiplayer mod for Slay the Spire, which includes both a Coop and Versus mode.
